Parametric Tyre for OpenRC Truggy Wheel

Being a huge enthusiast of RC cars, OpenSCAD and NinjaFlex, I took on the challenge of creating a parametric RC car tire. By default, it perfectly fits Daniel Noree's 3D printed OpenRC Truggy wheel, but I also fine-tuned it to fit a variety of different sized wheels, including the Kyosho Mini Z wheels that I designed. For more details on its development, please visit http://3DPrintHQ.com/bespoke-3d-printed-rc-car-tyres-designed-openscad Instructions I'm thrilled to share my parametric OpenRC Truggy tire design with you. This 3D printed beauty was created by myself and fitted seamlessly onto Daniel Noree's OpenRC Truggy wheel using the following settings: Material: Black NinjaFlex Infill: 5% Shells: 8 Layer: 0.3 mm Temp: 235 degrees Speed: 30 mm/s After experimenting with various settings, I discovered that these specifications yield a robust and rugged print. Due to the slow printing requirements of NinjaFlex, it took around 8 hours to complete one tire. To my delight, the dimensions were spot on for the Truggy wheel, but since NinjaFlex doesn't stretch much, I employed a trick by applying washing up liquid to assist its fit onto the wheel rim. A subsequent dip in warm water (approximately 50 degrees) helped soften the tire and secure the final fitting. I encourage you to experiment with this tire and provide your valuable feedback. If it proves popular, I'm excited to make continuous improvements based on your suggestions.
