Parametric track compatible with standard wooden train track
thingiverse
Parametric module to create a piece of track for Thomas- and Brio-compatible wooden train sets. Parameters allow for straight or curved track as well as combinations (switches or points), including recommended measurements based on wooden track for "small" and "large" curves. To render this shape, you will need tracklib.scad installed in the same directory as this file, or the dotscad/trains repository cloned in its entirety (which will include this file and tracklib.scad). This OpenSCAD library is part of the dotscad project, an open collection of modules and Things for 3d printing. Please check there for the latest versions of this and other related files. Instructions Customizer won't work with this file because it includes outside libraries, so I have included STL files for the 120 "standard" permutations of track generated by this library. That's a lot, and I will likely be adding more. Rather than printing all of them, I'd personally recommend that you use the all-female-connector variants and use a few dog-bone connectors to create the connections that you need for your setup.
