Parametric tool rack
thingiverse
I designed a parametric tool rack that I envision using for sets of small screwdrivers, and you can update it for your own settings using the customizer. The new version allows printing without support, and defining different tool slot diameters per row. Variables are: height_min - This is the height of the first row. height_step - This is how much higher each subsequent row will be, switch to zero to have the rows level (printable without support). wall_thickness - Thickness of the walls of the tool rack. row_count - Number of rows of tools you want on the rack. tool_gap_min - Minimum distance between tool slots (centre to centre, so don't set this smaller than your slot diameters) slot_diameter_set - Diameter of the tool slots tools_odd_count - Number of tools on odd-numbered rows. tools_even_count - number of tools on even-numbered rows. diameter_by_row_vector - A vector containing the diameter of tool slots row by row, e.g. 12,14,20 would make the first row have a diameter of 12, the second row a diameter of 14 and the third row a diameter of 20. Priority is given to this variable over 'slot_diameter', but it will default to 'slot_diameter' for rows where this isn't defined.
With this file you will be able to print Parametric tool rack with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Parametric tool rack.
