parametric thread protector / air stripper for air guns

I use this to protect the threads on the ends of my barrel. But I thought I'd make it into a basic air stripper (not quite muzzle brake) design. To build the .scad file you will need the OpenSCAD thread library: https://github.com/rcolyer/threads-scad You can configure this for whatever calibre and thread type you like. There are .stl files for .22 and .30 cal with 14x1.25mm threads. There are two versions of this, one ejects the gases radially straight out from the pellet trajectory, the other bends the gasses and emits them going backwards and (radially) at a slight angle to the trajectory -- the gasses have the net effect of trying to put the muzzle brake on the threads, i.e. to give the muzzle brake a right-handed twist. The intent is that you clean the threads with a tap after it is printed. If you do not have access to a tap, I suggest doing the best cleaning you can, but if it won't fit, print with a small scaling factor.
