Parametric Tetrahedron Top for Delta 3D Printer

I decided to design a unique top for my version of the Delta 3D Printer, featuring a tetrahedron shape. While this concept was still in its early stages, I created three parametric versions of the corners that can be easily modified and utilized by others. The different Openscad versions handle various sizes of V-slot vertical supports, including 2020, 2040, or 2060 dimensions. To adjust these models to suit your needs, simply modify the Wid variable, as well as a few other parameters if necessary. You can also experiment with adapting these designs to accommodate different types of aluminum extrusions by adjusting variables and fine-tuning the code. I have included an Openscad script to help you calculate the lengths of pipe needed for each model. I am using 3/4-inch EMT pipes in my project, but you can also work with 1/2-inch EMT or any other type of round or square stock. The tetrahedron shape adds stability to the printer by connecting all three columns at the top, making it an excellent feature for enhancing overall performance. For added versatility, I have prepared two Openscad versions for the apex – one for 1/2-inch EMT and another for 3/4-inch EMT. Be sure to experiment with the variables to adapt these models to your specific needs. If you encounter any difficulties, simply let me know your required size and I'll be happy to create a custom version for you. To ensure that all designs fit perfectly together, the included STL files are the exact versions I'm using in my Emmett-Delta build featuring 2060 vertical columns.
