I created an openSCAD program to produce a 3D ball and stick model of diamond or silicon crystals. The model is printed layer by layer, each ball featuring a space for the connector to fit snugly into place. They take quite some time to run (up to 10 minutes per .stl file), so I included two sets of pre-rendered models - one with thin and another with thick connectors.
