Parametric teardrop script
thingiverse
This new code replaces Whosawhatsis' version and offers improved parametric teardrops. It allows users to create teardrop hex nut holes by adding a parameter for the number of sides. Version 2 is available, with the original still downloadable if desired. The parameters include specifying one radius or diameter, with options like "r," "or," "ir," "d," "od," and "id." Additionally, users can choose the teardrop's length, angle from vertical, number of sides (set to 6 for a hex nut), and rotation around its axis. The angle ranges from 0 degrees for a vertical hole to 90 degrees for a horizontal one.
