Parametric Tatting Shuttle

**WARNING: This has not been printed yet, please treat as concept only for now.** Assembled model is intended for visualization purposes only and lacks clearance, making it unsuitable for printing by itself - if attempting a print, please use the version in two halves. This experiment involves creating a parametric tatting shuttle in OpenSCAD to replicate some of the designs used by my grandmother, who is an avid tatter. The device utilizes the Splines for OpenSCAD library here to produce smooth curves over the body: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1468725 The shape of these objects proves difficult for 3d printing - attempting to print them on any angle requires support material, and you'll want to use removable or dissolvable support.
With this file you will be able to print Parametric Tatting Shuttle with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Parametric Tatting Shuttle.
