Parametric Spool Roller Core

Parametric Spool Roller Core

Here is a parametric spool roller core I've created using Fusion 360 (files attached). It employs two 608 bearings and four M3 screws to provide an adaptable spool roller that can be easily adjusted to fit various spools. I frequently use filament from the same supplier, 3D Solutech, which is why I thought it would be beneficial to have a core that fits their spools perfectly but also offers adjustability for other spools. This design should allow you to use a wide range of spool sizes, from 41mm down to 100mm or more, and even accommodate different widths. The model can be adjusted to fit spool cores as small as 25-30mm without any issues, and as large as desired. Additionally, after printing, the design provides approximately 12mm of width flexibility, which is shown in the attached images. I've designed this model using Fusion360 parameters, so all you need to do is adjust the "SpoolCenterHole" or "CoreWidth" (highlighted in red above) according to your needs. This spool roller core was created with my filament dry box in mind, which can be found here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3230377
