The Prusa Mendel's spool mount, available on Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:8317), requires only one M8 thread and two M8 nuts for assembly. To install, slide the lower mount onto the top two rods and secure with nuts. Next, attach the threaded rod to the lower mount by either hand or using a wrench with counter-tightened nuts. Finally, screw on the upper spindle piece and snap the frame into place. A recommended rod length is 20cm or longer.
