Parametric Spice Rack
thingiverse
I redesigned this spice rack layout to suit my preferences for a lower-key look. This revised design is ideal for Tone's spices and provides easy access to them while keeping them out of sight when not in use. The ultimate result exceeded my expectations, with the spices sliding in and out effortlessly. Feel free to customize this design to accommodate other sizes of spices by adjusting settings such as opening width or spice rack height, or front lip size. To ensure secure mounting, I left screw holes intact; 3M's two-sided tape worked effectively instead. Instructions The printed model is created using 0.25mm layer thickness and a 25% infill density. ABS plastic was used for this version. A 4mm brim is added to prevent warping, and it's achieved with ten passes at a nozzle size of 0.4mm in the Cura settings. For my specific printer model that's five-wide and limited to a 200mm x 200mm bed area, printing had to be done at a 45-degree angle for it to fit within the print area.
