This OpenSCAD-designed spool creates a solenoid (electromagnet) using enameled copper wire, featuring two holes per base for easy wire insertion and hooking. The spool may also function as a generic wire holder. Customize parameters like internal diameter, outer diameter, internal height between bases, base diameter, base thickness, hole offsets, and hole diameter. After printing the model, assemble and possibly glue the pieces. To use, wind the wire (optionally filling the core with metal rods), apply current, and enjoy your solenoid.
