Parametric Soda Can Holder

Parametric Soda Can Holder

thingiverse

This OpenSCAD-based soda can holder comes with adjustable parameters like can diameter, wall thickness, ring heights, handle dimensions, holder height, bolt/adhesive handle attachment, and more. It is not just limited to soda cans but can also be customized for other objects. The file contains all the necessary parts along with an assembled view for easy tuning. Currently, it is set up for a standard soda can. To assemble, print a bottom, top, and handle according to the tunings in the OpenSCAD file. Attach the handle to the top and bottom using a bolt or adhesive, depending on the tuning. The tabs on the top and bottom rings are designed for centering the handle when fully assembled. However, if you're printing with a MakerBot, be cautious as the exported STL is 95mm long in the Y-axis, requiring a well-centered build platform. If using a raft for these parts, ensure that the print stays within the build platform's edges, particularly with the handle.
