Parametric Soda Bottle Gripper/Opener

To solve my issue of struggling to open bottles due to tight caps, I decided against buying a product seen on TV and instead designed a soda bottle cap gripper using OpenSCAD. My MakerBot printer proved capable of producing an intricate and sturdy part for the job. The tighter the cap, the stronger this gripper holds (potentially until it breaks). Adjustable parameters let you tailor the gripper to your preferred soda brand. For printing, I used a MakerBot Replicator 2X with ABS, 10% infill, and one shell; other settings were default. The design also features a chamfered top edge for improved comfort. Try it out!
