This Active Speaker is designed specifically for smartphones with speakers, featuring a power socket at the bottom. The design takes inspiration from David Riesenberg's concept for the OnePlus One, but incorporates key improvements and modifications to make it more versatile. Unlike its predecessor, this speaker can be easily customized to fit various smartphone models. The design consists of four distinct components: * The PipeStand serves as the main structural element, with the other parts secured within and attached through a strong adhesive bond. * The Insert is positioned at the center, guiding the phone's charging port while providing additional support for the device. * The LeftHorn and RightHorn complete the design, each carefully crafted to provide optimal sound quality and stability. Customization Options To tailor this speaker to your specific smartphone needs, open the SCAD file in OpenSCAD and adjust the settings according to your phone's dimensions. This will enable you to generate high-quality STL files for the PipeStand and Insert modules. The parametric design allows for seamless customization of these components, ensuring a precise fit with minimal wasted material. While the horns are not identical to David Riesenberg's original design, they have been modified to feature a flat base for easier gluing. The provided STL files for the horns can be printed immediately, while the PipeStand and Insert STL files serve as examples of the customizable modules. To ensure proper functionality, please ensure that the DXF file is stored in the same directory as the SCAD file.
