Based on Matthew Sorensen's gist of bearing, I've implemented some enhancements to transform it into a sleek bearing. The idea was sparked by examining http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:321679. This is an ongoing project; please review the scad files instead of using customizer, at least for now. This proof of concept aims to upgrade BQ Ciclop's bearing replacement design. 08/11/2015 Update: A minor adjustment has been made to include a parametric ball diameter setting. 01/25/2015 Update: Additional configurable parameters are now available in the customizer! Instructions: Utilize Customizer to print each component separately (Outer Race, Inner Race Above, and Inner Race Below). Acquire approximately one hundred BB 6mm balls or use balls with a matching diameter to suit your design. Printing specifications: Use a 25% infill rate, disable brim and support, and consider printing the outer race at a slower pace to achieve an optimal bearing track.
