Quick and rugged hold to get your snow shovel up off the garage floor quickly. Holds a steel bladed snow shovel securely without any issue at all. The anchoring points are specially designed to relieve pressure so you can mount it directly onto drywall using expanding plastic anchors - and still keep it laid flat against the wall. Enjoy! Instructions I 3D printed these parts on my MakerBot 2X using high-quality PLA material wrapped around a heat-resistant kapton sheet. I set the build plate at exactly 70C, the extruder temperature to 205C, and set the print parameters for 3 solid shells with a 15% fill density. This process typically takes about an hour to complete. The customized settings were tailored specifically for this part: Handle_diameter was set at 33mm in my case, Mount_height determined the vertical dimension of the overall hook design, Wall thickness defined the width of the hook's walls - adjust it as needed to add extra weight or support, Drop referred to how far down toward the wall the hook reaches, Tab_thickness measured the plate's flat section against the wall for optimal adhesion, Hole_diameter was used for calculating the perfect mounting hole diameter, and finally, Wedge_height helped me design a comfortable hold while minimizing wall friction, all thanks to specifying 33mm as my Handle_diameter, which set Mount_height at just 3 inches. The final detail is the number of facets I assigned on any cylindrical features - simply input Fn (Number of Facets).
