Parametric set top box foot pedestal
thingiverse
The text has two issues: first, Comcast DVR's IR receiver is blocked by a door frame in the media cabinet; secondly, set-top boxes in the master bedroom may overheat due to stacking. Thus, I designed a parametric foot pedestal for adjustable usage with various set-top boxes. All necessary adjustments are provided at the top of the OpenSCAD file, including variables like top_od, top_id, top_hole_depth, lower_od, lower_ring_id, lower_ring_od, oring_thickness, oring_exposed_thickness, and height for customization. The pedestal's height is intended to solve both problems and accommodate different set-top boxes.
