These custom rod-ends are engineered to work seamlessly with Rostock's printed u-joints, enabling you to use tubing of any diameter. In contrast to standard Rostock rod-ends, these parts boast a unique plug design that snugly fits into tubing rather than serving as a socket for tubes to attach. The parameters currently configured cater specifically to 3/8" hollow Aluminum rods. This particular adaptation drew inspiration from the http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:39662 concept, although Thingiverse seems plagued with technical issues and I'm unable to correctly mark this design as a derivative of that original creation; instead, I'm referencing it for reference purposes at this time. Instructions To fabricate, print without support, then sever the square end and bond it securely into your tubes using epoxy.
