Parametric Quick-Change Printhead for CTC, Flashforge, Makerbot etc

I've experienced recurring thermocouple cable failures on my CTC, so I only use one extruder as calibrating multi-extrusion is too complicated and not worth the benefits. To avoid downtime, I regularly swap nozzles. Why not just replace the entire printhead quickly if something goes wrong? I've created a parametric case that encloses the extruder and routes all connections through affordable ethernet cables, which are easy to replace. You can follow my updates on the SCAD Code on Github here: https://github.com/bardiir/parametric-printhead. You can also download the latest version there and create printable parts with your specific settings. This is just a preview; I don't recommend using this design yet due to some flaws that need fixing and the need for more stable ethernet connectivity via a real PCB, not a knot of wires on the back. The current ethernet sockets are made by cutting open patch extension cables: http://amzn.to/2nQmoxb. A good documentation about setting parameters is still pending. You can follow my progress updates. If you want to contribute, please feel free to fork on Github and let me know.
