Parametric Pyramid Puzzles

This project is closely related to my Parametric Pyramid Puzzle - thing:3930116. Basically, it simplifies the tetrahedron's structural elements. To date, two unit shapes are available: octahedrons and spheres. The octahedron version prints easily without support and build plate adhesion. The sphere version produces prettier pieces but printing may be more challenging. I achieved good results by printing on a thin raft with 0.2 mm gap, no support, cutting off 0.25 mm from the base of each piece to increase contact area. For reduced raft material, I added an STL with dense packing of the pieces. So, if you want a copy of this puzzle, simply print "Kugelpyramide.stl" and enjoy! The OpenSCAD file invites you to design other pieces for different puzzles. I'd be thrilled to find someone creating a remix or posting a make.
