[Parametric] proximity sensor mount for mk8 fan

This is a proximity sensor mount designed specifically for MK8 extruder fans. The ideal design should be flexible enough to accommodate various fan and sensor sizes as well as different sensor positions. A square mounting plate attaches to the fan using the 4 existing screws on the MK8, allowing it to be positioned either in front of or behind the fan. A connecting bridge joins the plate to a circular sensor holder. This bridge is made up of two perpendicular legs that can be individually adjusted to achieve the perfect offset for the sensor from the mounting plate. Print Settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: i3 Raft Thickness: Doesn't Matter Support Material: Doesn't Matter Resolution: Coarse Infill Percentage: 30% Post-Printing Details: The sensor used is an LJ18A3-8-Z/BX with a diameter of 18mm, along with 24mm nuts (27mm outer diameter) and 30mm mounting fixtures. The sensor was mounted without the fixtures, using only the nuts provided. For this custom mount, M3x40 screws proved to be too short for my extruder, so I substituted them with longer M3x50 screws. To compensate for the added thickness of the new screws, I adjusted the plate thickness to 10mm during design. Designing This Model: I created this model as a part of practicing modeling in OpenSCAD, an excellent tool for designing and experimenting with different geometries.
