A portable case design for a DIY monome project I'm working on right now. To assemble the case, follow these steps: Download the .scad file and adjust the dimensions to suit your number of rows and columns as well as the hardware you plan to use. Once modified, export all four .stl files required for 3D printing. Pass the cord through a small slot in the center and secure it by gluing the plug in place. For added security, create a loose knot or apply a small amount of sugru at the back of the cord near the plug to prevent it from being pulled out from the arduino unit. After this step, proceed to install the electronics beneath the top part and screw everything together using your preferred hardware setup. Keep in mind that I have initially set up the .scad file for M3x25 screws; thus, you may need to adjust it accordingly based on your requirements. The STL files were regenerated with this specific screw size in mind. Although the design should be printable on a Rep2 3D printer at current settings, I haven't actually printed one yet, so feedback is welcome. Note that demo.stl is not needed for the project and was included only to serve as a pretty visual aid. In my spare time, I enjoy designing personal projects for fun.
