Parametric Power Adapter via Battery Contacts
thingiverse
This cell phone has a faulty USB charging jack, so a powered battery blank provides an easier solution for charging. Similarly, cameras that won't record while charging can benefit from this setup. The design utilizes a Buck Converter to set the voltage at 3.6V, suitable for most electronics. To create this adapter, two nails serve as contacts within the printed battery housing, which are soldered to wires connected to the buck converter. Holes are provided for wire management, and the project is currently marked as a work in progress, requiring additional features for irregularly shaped batteries.
