First try in Fusion 360 of a parametric model, as I needed a pouring cap for a small bottle. Under Fusion to access the parameters: In DESIGN > MODIFY > fx change parameters This takes you to a table, the column contains the name of the variable and an explanation. You just have to change the values contained in column <Expression> All values are in mm except "Chamfer_Yes_No" which can contain 1 for Yes and 0 for No, to round the corners on the cap. The parameters that can be changed are as follows: Height of the bottle neck and cap (without the pourer) Height of the part without thread on it Inside diameter of the cap Thickness of the wall of the plug Space between the pourer and the edge of the cap (will give the fineness of the spout) Height of the spout Thread pitch: Take the distance between 2 threads (or vertices), or count the number of threads on 1 cm, and divide 10 by this value Example 3 threads on 1 cm will give 10/3 = 3,33 mm Chamfering the corners of the cap to round them off Enter consistent values in the table, the program does not check for errors or outliers. Otherwise quit the model without saving, and reload it to start again with the default values. For caps going on bottles containing food liquids, provide a suitable filament. The editable parameters are as follows: Height of the neck of the bottle and cap (without the pourer) Height of the part without thread on the cap Inside diameter of the cap Thickness of the wall of the cap Space between the pourer and the edge of the stopper (will give the finesse of the beak) Spout height Screw thread : take the distance between 2 nets (or vertices), or count the number of nets on 1 cm, and divide 10 by this value Example 3 nets on 1 cm will give 10/3 = 3.33 mm Chamfering the corners of the cap to round them Enter consistent values in the table, the program does not check for errors or aberrations. Otherwise, exit the model without saving, and reload it to restart with the default values. For caps on bottles containing food liquids, provide adequate filament.
