A wood or acrylic filament spool, crafted with CNC captive nut joinery, features adjustable filament mounting tightness depending on slot selection during assembly. Staggered rows of slots provide numerous mounting options. Made with a 1/4" plywood and 6 x 10mm M5 bolt, nut, and washer hardware (optional 2 x 608 bearings), this spool's dimensions approximate a 1kg MakerBot spool; however, prototype dimensions differed.
