This wall-mounted ping pong ball holder and dispenser accommodates six balls, ensuring easy access to your game essentials. Simply grab the bottom ball and watch as the rest slide down effortlessly. The STL is designed for #6 flat head screws and can be customized to hold foosballs or metric screws with adjustable parameters. Print at a 45-degree orientation, using PLA with 0.2 mm layer height for optimal results. ABS printing may require a heated build volume in addition to a heated bed for success. The holder features a cylinder connected to a circular toroid and a sphere, with a flat surface for wall mounting that increases at a 60-degree angle. Creating the tangent point between the circular toroid and surface required recursive functions and a combination of bisection and Newton-Raphson iteration in OpenSCAD. The finished holder securely holds balls, allowing them to slide smoothly and land without falling out, making it a practical addition to any ping pong enthusiast's setup.
