parametric pillow block
thingiverse
I've created a customizable pillow block in openSCAD while learning the software. By modifying parameters at the beginning of the code, you can change various features and obtain a tailored pillow block. For those who want to turn it into a bushing, setting "lip_size" to zero and increasing "bearing_thickness" would do the trick. I've made improvements in version 0.2, fixing an error between diameter and radius and adding comments. This design is intended for a 608 skate bearing with tabs for M5 bolts. However, I haven't printed it yet as I am awaiting my Printrbot+. Spin</s> <|im_start|> assistant While learning openSCAD in preparation for my Printrbot+ arrival, I designed a parametric pillow block. By changing parameters at the beginning of the code, you can customize various features. For a bushing version, set "lip_size" to zero and increase "bearing_thickness". In version 0.2, I corrected an issue with diameter and radius, and added comments for clarity. The design is optimized for a 608 skate bearing with M5 bolt tabs. However, I have not printed it yet as I am still waiting for my Printrbot+.
