parametric phone holder
thingiverse
This is a basic sliding phone cradle, adjust for your phone as needed and attach to the mount of your choice. I simply hot-glued mine to the dashboard. I've been in the habit of finding a simple design every time I switch cars or phones and needing to scale it up to fit my exact phone, skin, or case size. Usually, this involves wasting a few trial runs before getting it just right. The included STL fits a Moto G5 Plus with a thin skin on it perfectly. I needed a fairly wide "lip" so I could use one cradle for both my Android and my wife's iPhone. If your lip is more than a few millimeters, set the "supports" variable to true in the SCAD file, and consider adding a millimeter or two to the inside dimension to allow for the ridges that will remain after you clean out the supports. You could also simply rotate it to stand up on the print bed but it might not look as good.
