Parametric Peristaltic Pump with Mount
thingiverse
Ok I've added some pictures of printed versions for tt motor... Not only good news, however... Drmn4ea warns in his description that this pump needs a lot of torque... He's right! My plan was to use tt motors which are plastic gear motors... The problem was the size of the tube that I had selected... Way too big (10 mm od 8mm id silicon tubing)... I was on my way to build a bartender robot for my wedding, but with a month of delivery time for my fda silicone tubing... Ordering the wrong size made me miss my time window... But don't worry, this project is not dead... It still has plenty of future parties to justify the effort over this one. I also see some users having difficulty with tube seals... The key factor in this is the tolerance value... Compact: Mount hole distance = 0.75 * OD New feature: 28BYJ-48 motor mount! Parametric 28BYJ-48 motor mount can now be generated by setting Motormount_type=2. Don't forget to set (you should add some tolerance to those numbers): CenterHole_dia = 5 CenterHole_Num_of_Flat = 2 CenterHole_Flat_dia = 3 I didn't test it at the moment, but all dimensions are based on the 28BYJ-48 motor spec so it should be correct. It supports both types of pump mounts. The gap between the mount and the pump is set to 5mm... Enjoy! New feature: TT motor mount! Parametric TT motor mount can now be generated by setting Motormount_type=1. I didn't test it at the moment, but all dimensions are based on the tt motor spec so it should be correct. It now supports both types of pump mounts. Enjoy! I've just added a parametric center hole type, with default set to arduino yellow tt motor (circle with two flats... The one that I want to use for my project). For generating the original center, simply set: CenterHole_Dia=0 CenterHole_Num_of_Flat=6 CenterHole_Flat_Dia=5.5. The STL remains with the original center screwdriver hex hole. It now supports motor shafts with 1 to 8 flats or round ones (the next step would be adding a round shaft lock screw...). Also, I want to add an optional parametric motor mount for this pump... Original post I was in need of a mount bracket for the impressive Drmn4ea's Parametric Peristaltic Pump. So I've added two models of mounting brackets to the scad file (Compact and Standard). Standard: Mount hole distance = 1.25 * OD Those mounts are optional, so you can disable them using variables. I also added a quick fix to the Outer Diameter calculation, so now the resulting OuterDiameter is not oversized. Hope it will be useful! This thing could be customized using the Customizer App, but please note that a strange display glitch appears when the tubing_squish_ratio is < 0.41... This glitch didn't appear in OpenScad... Designed using Freecad first and ported to OpenScad.
