Stop losing your pens with this customizable parametric pen! Personalize it by adding your name, making it uniquely yours. The pen can fit over a Bic pen or serve as the barrel of a pen kit. Inspired by a Thingiverse design but built in OpenSCAD for easier sizing and text generation. An updated version ensures the pen's face is at z=0 for effortless printing. To use, download 'pen.scad', along with 'write.scad' and your desired fonts from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16193. Edit 'pen.scad' to set the desired dimensions (outer diameter of pen, inner diameter, and height). Choose a font and add your text, making sure it doesn't exceed the pen body length. For one color printing, generate the STL file and print. For two-color printing, follow additional steps to merge STL files for dualstrusion printing. Tested in ReplicatorG, this personalized pen makes a great gift for friends and family.
