Parametric pelton wheel for micro hydroelectricity generation
thingiverse
This is a pelton wheel, as used in micro hydro power generation. It is also used in some large scale installation but this model is for small hydro tubines. Mount this to a brushless motor shaft to générate any amount of power depending on the water resource you have available. It is designed to be printed without supports. The hub is in two parts and the blades are printed one by one, although depending on size you can fit several on your printer bed. Of course this will not be as reliable as a bronze pelton wheel, but for prototyping and experimenting it works well enough. I think you can use the thingiverse customizer to get a wheel of the size and with the number of blades that you require. The openscad file allows you to print each part separately after configuration.
