Parametric patterned box

Inspired by my obsession with 8-bit themes on Thingiverse, I discovered Tunako's parametric container and decided to combine it with an idea of my own. Here are two OpenSCAD scripts that create either rectangular or cylindrical boxes, both customizable with a text-based pattern. Try tweaking your box size as the examples included in the zip file might be too small for practical use. For details on parameters, refer to mybox.scad and cylbox.scad. Note that these scripts are original and not based on previous designs, which means existing models cannot be directly used. Ensure wall thickness is a multiple of perimeter widths for printing thin-walled objects; adjust printer settings for optimal results. Printing several boxes simultaneously may cause surface imperfections but can be an effective time-saver.
