Parametric Packaging with Embossed Axis Labels
thingiverse
The revamped generic click-together device packaging features Axis labels embossed on each face for enhanced user friendliness. This project also served as a test to consolidate multiple .stl and .scad files into one shape using OpenSCAD's "use" and "include" functionalities. To use this model, download all .SCAD files in the same directory. Customize settings in the file WIMUv3_v1.5_2011-11-28_tyndall_generic_device_packaging_v1.4.scad to create a customized packaging size for your application (the one with "nologo" at the start will display -Z instead of the Tyndall logo). Furthermore, adjust settings in include_test1.scad to correctly position the labels. After saving and recompiling the main .scad file, generate the .stl file, print it, clean up if necessary, and assemble around your device for playtime.
With this file you will be able to print Parametric Packaging with Embossed Axis Labels with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Parametric Packaging with Embossed Axis Labels.
