Parametric openscad beveled cube

thingiverse

This open-source Parametric OpenSCAD module enables creation of beveled cubes, with three different implementations available for teaching purposes: boolean operators, hull operator, or Minkowsky. The default module utilizes the Minkowsky approach but can be customized to test building speed using the other methods. For more details in Spanish, visit www.iearobotics.com/wiki/index.php?title=Objeto_3D:Cubo_Biselado. To incorporate beveled cubes into your designs, simply use <bcube.scad> and input dimensions (e.g., [20,20,10]) along with corner radius (cr) and corner resolution (cres). cr determines the corner's roundedness while cres influences the number of lines in the beveled corners. A cres value of 0 results in straight corners, 1 creates a midpoint, and higher values lead to rounder corners. Explore different implementations by renaming files: bcube_boolean.scad, bcube_hull.scad, or bcube_minkowsky.scad to bcube.scad for optimal open-source OpenSCAD learning!
