Open Multi-Mold Generator A mold generator for multiple side-by-side open molds with either positive or negative inset. Generates an object with multiple molds in a grid enclosed by walls and a configurable seperator between them. Two example models that show the possibilities of the generator are included in the files section. Features include: Load a custom STL model Switch between negative or positive molds with a single flag change Configure mold dimensions and wall/base thickness Freely choose the number of side-by-side molds in the final object Choose between full walls, a small seperator or nothing at all between the sub-molds Optionally completely customize the seperator shape between the sub-molds This generator also doubles as a conventional mold generator by simply setting the number of molds to 1x1. I use this for making soap that is later cut into seperate parts. Another idea is to use this for chocolate bars but I've yet to try this. Print Settings Printer Brand: RepRap Printer: RepRap Kossel Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 15% Notes: Print settings probably don't matter, but it depends on the STL model you are using. Just make sure larger molds stick to the bed well (enough brim etc).
