I'm trying to stretch my budget by not buying a net pot for my fogponics indoor garden because I think it's ridiculous that something so simple needs to be purchased separately. Given the wide range of sizes available in these net cups, I came up with a parametric design that allows me to customize them in various ways to suit my needs. In this picture you'll see an example of a custom-made net pot with a 3" diameter and 2.4" height. I decided on using PLA for printing when it comes to edible plants as they tend to thrive in it, and while ABS is also a viable option for other types of plants, it's generally better suited for PLA-based setups due to the edibility requirement of edible plants, which means their roots must not be subjected to strong odors and chemical reactions associated with non-edible products.
