This is a model rocket fin alignment tool. It was made for use with the North Coast Rocketry (NCR) Hobgoblin, but may be used for many other models with 4 fins and a body tube with an OD of = 67 mm (2.64 inches). The 3D printing file can be customized for other models with a different number of fins and for other dimensions. It was made by using the customizer on the MakeWithTech web site to create a custom version of the gravatite parametric fin alignment tool: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2424931 Mine has the following dimensions: Tube Diameter = OD of body tube = 67 mm (2.64 inches advertised = 67.056 mm) Fin Width (rocket fin thickness) = 3.2 mm (measured as 3.08 mm, advertised as 1/8 inch) number of fins = 4 Jig Height = 50 mm Jig Fin Width = 50 mm Jig Wall Thickness = 4 mm Brim Width = 15 mm (default) Glue Clearance = 6 mm $Fs = 0.2 (default) $Fa = 0.2 (default)
