Parametric multi-LED-strip bracket
thingiverse
Remix of the single LED strip bracket by deadsy, this one enables mounting multiple LED strips in parallel. 31-Aug-17: I plan to use this to mount LED strips on the eaves of my house and have noticed that the bottom lug would be suspended in mid-air. To fix this, I've added an additional feature allowing the bottom lug to rotate 90 degrees so it's at a right angle to the strips, flush with the bottom of the eaves. Furthermore, I've included an option for holes between LED strips and adjustable end lugs. 02-Sep-17: Realizing there would be no room for the top lug, yet still wanting a bottom lug, I made the top lug optional. 22-Oct-17: I added photos of the installed strips. When installing, start by stringing up one strip with spring clips holding brackets in place. This allows you to move it left/right to your desired position. Next, secure one end and work towards the other, placing brackets at copper pads where LED strips can be cut. To finish, nail the bracket from the bottom first, then thread each of the strips into place, and finally secure with a small panel pin. 17-Nov-17: Almost done! I added a wire hole. For longer strips (over 7 meters or so), run +12V & ground to the far end; otherwise, far-end LEDs will appear dim.
