Enclosure Summary for 12V Motor Controller. Can be Resized by Modifying Openscad Code. Instructions: A 12V motor controller enclosure was created to complement our solar powered automated garden watering system. The standard controller is readily available on eBay, item number 280913522973. The Scanners Sparkfun enclosure Openscad code was modified to adjust size parameters and add a lid. External lugs were repositioned to avoid being obscured by the potentiometer control knob, as seen in an earlier version where they were incorrectly oriented. Self-amalgamating tape was applied around the potentiometer control opening to minimize water ingress. The wiring openings were later enlarged with a diamond file to accommodate larger diameter wiring than expected. Seperate STL files for the box and lid are provided, allowing them to be built separately if necessary due to their large size potentially exceeding a makerbot build platform's capacity in one go.
