<p>These are tail fins for model rockets.</p> <h3>Instructions</h3> <p>Print it out on a 3D-printer and glue it around the end of the body-tube of your model rocket.</p> <p>In the OpenSCAD file, you can easily change all relevant parameters (number and size of fins, diameter of the tube, ...).</p> <p>The .stl-file is for a rocket with a 20 mm body tube with 4 fins tapering from 50 mm down to 30 mm. The span is 80 mm.</p> <p>CAUTION: I had some trouble when printig these thin fins. They seem to split easily. For me, it worked best with a brim at the bottom, cooling fan OFF and some cardboard boxes positioned around the printer to avoid any airdraft. YMMV.</p> Category: R/C Vehicles
