Brian's Parametric Micro Shelving

I created this thing when I needed to add a HDMI switch and a NETGEAR GS105NA 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Network Switch to my multi-media set up. Space was in short supply where the devices were to be stored and I wanted to get them out of the way, but in a neat and orderly fashion.

After designing an object specific to my needs, I figured I'd turn it into a customizer for others to tweak to their own needs.

The shelving will automatically resize itself to the widest and deepest of the two devices. And then (if enabled) print a retaining wall of your desired length around each corner of the device to hold it in place.

Post-Printing

Optional: Filing and Superglue as Needed

On my own print(s), I decided to file the legs slightly in order to get them to press-fit into their holes more easily. rnrnAdditionally, I decided to go ahead and superglue the legs on both sides. I intend to cram this into the back of my entertainment center and I didn't want any random jostling around of devices to knock it loose.

Category: Containers
