Parametric Mendel Inspired Y-Stage for TOM
thingiverse
Currently, this print file is a work in progress due to incorrect rod distance. The design allows adjustment for various bearing and rod sizes within certain ranges. However, more flexibility is needed, particularly regarding the rod distance. As it hasn't been tested on the user's own printer, it should be printed at one's own risk. The print file is suitable for a latest ToM design with different rod sizes compared to Cupcake or possibly older ToM versions. To print, use 10x 623 bearings and set rod distance to 40mm with a diameter of 9.5. Follow the instructions provided in thing 3697 (which refers to thing 3202). For customization, download the zip file containing all necessary files for rendering stl. OpenSCAD file is fully commented and allows showing/hiding different parts. Set draw_MainPart to 1 for the main part and draw_Clamp to 1 for the clamp to generate personalized stl files. Updates will be provided as more information becomes available regarding compatibility with endstops, belts, etc. Your feedback is highly appreciated!
