This is an OpenScad parametric design for a screw-based micro adjustable Z stop that fits perfectly on the Makerfarm's Prusa I3v. It functions flawlessly on my machine, and you can easily modify it by tweaking the parameters and recompiling in OpenScad to generate the STL. The parts are simple to print using PLA, which works beautifully. One thing to keep in mind is to enable material support for the two M5 screw head sinks. I installed it using the stock screws that came with the I3v (cutting off the end of its metal lever was not strictly necessary), M5 screws for the rail slots, and a long M3 screw for the adjustment screw. For installing the switch, I also used M3 screws and enlarged the hole in the micro switch to fit. A more elegant solution would be to use smaller screws (M2.5) and reduce the hole diameters in the OpenScad file. The adjustment screw is positioned to hit the switch near that plastic pin rather than the edge of the metal lever, which reduces leverage and increases stability and accuracy. If you're interested in a more precise switch, search Digi-Key for snap-action limit switches with low differential travel; however, the stock switch on the I3v works perfectly for me.
