Parametric Makerbot Watch Case
thingiverse
The OpenSCAD script output showcases a customizable case designed specifically for the prototype Makerbot Watch. Despite owning one, I struggled to find a lasercut case. Inspired by the multi-layer wristwatch/pocket watch design included with the Makerbot Watch entry, I created a parametric model to allow adjustments in design aspects. Users are required to choose an STL file, compile it using their preferred toolchain, and print the result. To assemble the case, place the Makerbot Watch in its designated recess and either use 3mm acrylic cut from the right-most shape of the provided DXF file (available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1254) or secure the watch's PCB with M4 bolts and plastic washers.
With this file you will be able to print Parametric Makerbot Watch Case with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Parametric Makerbot Watch Case.
