Parametric Magic Wand

Parametric Magic Wand

thingiverse

Experience the magic of a spiral-shaped wand, crafted using OpenSCAD's linear_extrude function! The twisted circle is extruded to form a cool wand, while the same technique creates screws and screw holes for easy assembly. Be sure to use pointed screws and holes for successful printing. Impressively, the sphere fits perfectly atop the wand's head. Print the STL file, assemble the parts, and enjoy your five-segment wand, ideally with 'glow in the dark' filament. Play around with parameters like h (rod height), cr (circle radius), w (wiggle distance), nw (wiggles per rod segment), gap (screw placement), and spacing (rod segment arrangement) to customize your wand. Uncomment 'stacked()' for a stacked assembly, or 'plated()' for a plated one, while adding more mid statements in 'plated' for additional rod segments. Happy wand-making!
