To prevent losing luggage labels or written contents, attach a label with a cable tie, making it more resistant and visible on conveyor belts due to its conspicuous color and legible font size, which is also backlit-friendly. The OpenSCAD file allows customization of the label design, offering three options: engraved text, hidden text (viewable under backlight), or embossed. The label's size adjusts automatically based on text length, lines, and font size. For hidden text, use write.scad (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:16193) and stencil2.dxf (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:100779). The name was changed to Parametric Luggage Label on 2013-11-01, and a Customizer version is available at http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:175150. Print with 1 shell, 3 bottom and top layers, and 25% infill to achieve quality results, and avoid small font sizes that may result in letter detail loss during engraving. For a different layout, print the label upside-down, ensuring a smooth top side when printed on glass.
