This parametric cap generator was specifically created to produce straightforward lens caps. The cap can feature an eyelet or not. As it's entirely parametric, users can generate caps for various devices with ease. Open the attached .SCAD file using OpenSCAD, modify the parameters as needed, save your changes and press F6. Then export the design to STL format. To remove the eyelet from the cap, simply set the eyelet diameter parameter to zero. A 49mm / 5mm deep STL example is provided for reference purposes.
