A customizable knot design on a stand is showcased in two images: one with 2.5 rotations and the other featuring 2.3 rotations. Further knot variations are demonstrated. Instructions for adjusting internal parameters are provided, allowing for better building on Windows. To visualize the knot's configuration, imagine a hidden torus (donut) with a string encircling it; the axisRotation denotes the number of times the string wraps around the top, while radialRotation refers to the number of times it enters and exits the hole. The baseHeight determines the plinth height (0 for no plinth), and numberOfSpheres indicates the sphere count for completing knots. SphereQuality affects quality, with higher numbers resulting in lower quality. Command line options can be used to set parameters and output files, such as generating a STL file named "knot15.stl" with axisRotation 1, radialRotation 5, and baseHeight 5 using the varKnot.scad script. Due to Windows' limitations, OpenSCAD requires reduced resolution for STL generation, consuming 750MB RAM and taking approximately 3 hours. To accommodate non-OpenSCAD users, 10+ STL files have been generated; please request custom combinations if needed.
