Parametric Interlocking Truss Segment
thingiverse
This text combines the latest versions of truss modules with interlocking connectors (flush version) to create a printable truss that can snap together for various lengths. Updated calculations ensure accurate length determination based on user-specified maximum distance. Rotated connectors in revised .scad and V3 .stl files allow for easy printing without bridging issues. Trusses interlock at 180 degrees, connected alternately with neighboring trusses, secured by finger-tight insertion followed by hammering on a flat surface. The connectors are designed to be near-impossible to separate without breaking the truss, achieving locking functionality. For printability, download the solid truss files instead of the original design. These trusses can also be scaled and attached to personal designs for custom linkage purposes. Please consider adjustments before printing the example file, as it may contain overhangs or require rotation.
